A boy's dog has run off and, with the help of unfortunately named marionette Handy, the kid learns to use a telephone to find him. “Adventure in Telezonia” was part of an educational package distributed in grade schools for kids to learn proper telephone usage. Sri Raja Rajeswari 2001

Rasaiya and Rajeswari are tribal newly weds, out for a midnight stroll in the forest. Three drunk businessmen('Nizhalgal' Ravi, Thyagu, Ponnambalam) accost them and when Rajeswari refuses to succumb to their advances, they kill the couple. Rajeswari is them reborn as the child of a poor couple and once she remembers her past, starts taking her revenge. Once she has disposed off the first two, she finds out that the son of the third is a look-alike of Rasaiya. When Rasaiya ends up marrying the girl of his father's choice, Rajeswari attempts to prevent the consummation of their relationship and steal her husband back.

The Tears of Maria Machita 1991

Based on the traditional Dutch smartlap genre (an overly dramatic folk song). Maria Machita has to deal with a lot of heartache in this short musical film; her father dies in an accident, her mother perishes in the theatre, and her sweet Turkish boyfriend is leaving the country. Madonna, Snake Woman 1991

Merlinda is cursed by her Mother after leaving her father on his death bed to be with her rich lover. Abandoned by all she is now pregnant, destitute, and covered in boils. Merlinda gives birth in a Cave to a human daughter and a snake son. The Baby girl is named Madonna. When Madonna grows up she starts turning into a giant murderous snake. Afraid of losing her lover to the monster she is becoming, Modonna is desperate for answers. Together she and her brother she seek out a cure to their damned existence.

The Uncanny Valley 2013

The Uncanny Valley refers to Channel Awesome's five year anniversary event. Unlike the past events, instead of one collaborative video, there were five short films making up the event. All of which the contributors celebrate the website's fantastic fifth year!

The Girl's Dead, Man 1974

A young couple discover an ancient book in the attic and start reading the story of the Malemort family: a sombre household set in the nineteenth century in rural France. The old man Deroze plays his violin and tries to seduce the maid. His elder daughter Maxime "qui tue les mouches et deguste en cachette des fruits juteux". Underneath her bourgeois facade her senses are not yet put to rest. There is the rest of this upstairs/downstairs family who is visited by a sea captain who learns of a hidden treasure The storyline of this adult fairy tale is less important than the cinematography and the lyric fairy tale atmosphere that surrounds this movie. A little masterpiece still to be rediscovered.

Maria Ada 2011

Maria Ada is a famous urban legend that tells the story of a teacher who died leaving two sons behind while his ghost occasionally comes to life trying to recover them. Oscar and Jose, two friends and former classmates, tell about the tragic ghost apparitions and their constant bickering with an albino boy. A friend from the same classroom could only see the ghost, because in Equatorial Guinea they say that albinos have four eyes.
